Alissa Carson is an Associate and licensed architect at FAI. Born and raised on Oahu, Alissa has a passion for Hawaii’s culture, buildings and its resources. Influenced by her parent’s wallpaper construction business, Alissa began her career as a draftsman, before earning her college degree in Architecture and obtaining her licensure. She manages a diverse amount of projects that include federal, state, and private projects types, many with the State of Hawaii, Department of Education and the University of Hawaii System. Alissa served two terms as President of Docomomo US/Hawaii Chapter, a non-profit organization focusing and promoting Hawaii’s mid-century era. She is a true local girl who enjoys spending her spare time in the ocean.
